Trauma Data Manager

About the Role

This role involves managing trauma registry professionals and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Trauma Data Manager will oversee data integrity and performance improvement activities across multiple hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain departmental budget, goals, and standards
• Ensure regulatory compliance aligns with institutional objectives
• Lead quality improvement programs in trauma care
• Manage staff performance and scheduling responsibilities
• Provide oversight on trauma registry reporting and data inquiries
• Collaborate with medical directors on trauma systems management.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or ADN with BSN in progress
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in acute care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred: Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Experience in trauma registry or trauma program preferred.
