About the Role

The Clinical Nurse II assumes an active role in clinical education and functions effectively within inter-professional teams. This role integrates evidence-based practices to ensure optimal healthcare delivery and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family centered care incorporating the nursing process.
• Communicate and advocate patient values and preferences to the interdisciplinary team.
• Integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise for optimal healthcare delivery.
• Use data to monitor outcomes and improve quality and safety of healthcare systems.
• Minimize risk of harm through effective communication and performance.
• Utilize information technology to support decision-making and care coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support and Registered Nurse certifications.
• BLS/CPR must have at least six months before expiration.
• RN License from multistate compact.
