About the Role

This position assists in the application of behavioral techniques tailored to meet the needs of students and collaborates with educational staff effectively. The Behavior Technician contributes to creating a supportive environment conducive to student growth and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior and intervention plans developed by supervisors.
  • Collaborate with school teams and other specialists.
  • Obtain and maintain Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
  • Assist with the design and delivery of visual schedules and basic reinforcement strategies.
  • Model professionalism and build rapport with students.
  • Collect and analyze student data in collaboration with specialists.

Requirements

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to obtain additional certifications as required.
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
