Medical Assistant

About the Role

This role involves performing routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned areas. Employees will have opportunities to grow skills and progress through a structured career ladder model.

Responsibilities

• Assists with performing patient care under the direction of a provider or nurse.
• Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection while monitoring patient conditions.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering and stocking.
• Performs administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and patient registration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or graduated from an accredited program.
