RN Operating Room

About the Role

As an RN in the Operating Room, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires both clinical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
• Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room levels of care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• BLS must be valid through sixty days of hire.
