RN Medical Office - Surgery

About the Role

This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to optimize outcomes. The nurse will collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care and provide education to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition appropriately.
• Collaborates across disciplines for patient care coordination.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
• Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience required.
