Patient Transporter

About the Role

This role involves working at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital, providing essential transportation services for patients. The position requires working on weekends with a commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles and transferring between wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department.
• Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider or Heartsaver CPR within 90 days of hire.
