Patient Transporter

About the Role

This position is an onsite role and involves transporting patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to designated sites within the hospital. You will assist patients with their movements and ensure safe and efficient transportation while providing support to staff.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles and transfers.
• Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department.
• Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider or Heartsaver CPR within 90 days of hire.
