Patient Access Registration Specialist

About the Role

As a Patient Access Registration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the patient experience by facilitating smooth operations during patient visits. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients and/or caregivers to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certification/authorization as necessary.
• Escort and transport patients and visitors within the facility.
• Determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.
• Ensure demographic, billing, and clinical information is accurately entered into the registration system.
