Patient Access Registration Specialist

About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for registering patients and providing necessary clerical duties associated with their visits. Your critical thinking skills and ability to work independently will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patient and/or patient's caregiver to exchange necessary information and documentation.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as necessary.
• Escorts and transports patients and visitors within the facility.
• Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.
• Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system.

• High school diploma or GED.
