CT Technologist

About the Role

This position involves performing computed tomography imaging in alignment with the organization's policies and mission. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging results while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders, educating patients about procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications when ordered, monitoring patient condition continually.
• Prepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, and implements safety standards during procedures.
• Analyzes imaging results to identify quality issues and takes appropriate action to rectify them.
• Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and eligible for registry in computed tomography (CT) within 12 months.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid upon start date.
