Responsibilities

• Assesses the spiritual needs of patients to assist the healing process as part of a holistic team.
• Provides focused attention to patients, loved ones, and staff without agenda, effectively listening and responding to their needs.
• Conveys personalized care to patients, families, and staff, ensuring they feel cared for and supported.
• Enables patients, loved ones, and staff to experience God's nearness, safety, and comfort.
• Assists patients, loved ones, and staff in articulating their struggles and identifying their inner resources of strength, meaning, faith, and hope.

• Displays a high skill level completing tasks and communicating effectively using Microsoft Office Suite and other healthcare system charting and communications applications
• Bachelor's in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent degree from college/university or institution accredited by the applicant's institutional faith body [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School completion of deacon training and ordination [Required]
• Bachelors Degree in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent degree from college/university or institution accredited by the applicant's institutional faith body Required OR Completion of deacon training and ordination Required
• 1+ pastoral ministry [Preferred]
• Driver's License (DL) [Required]
• Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) [Preferred]

Compensation

• Base pay: $29.82 - $55.47/hr
