Fitness Specialist

About the Role

Join our team as a part-time Fitness Specialist! The Fitness Specialist will teach various fitness classes and assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents. Personal Training Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Teaching fitness classes to residents.
• Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
• Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
• Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal training experience required
• Personal Training Certificate or related certificate or degree required

Compensation

• Base pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hr
• 401(k) with company 3% match
