About the Role

The ED Critical Care Tech performs treatments and patient care according to established policies and procedures in a fast-paced emergency department. The role communicates effectively with patients and the healthcare team and helps maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to policy and procedure.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assist in identifying patient needs and document procedures accordingly.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and support quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 1+ year applicable EMT experience
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
